| Can't seem to figure out what happened but ever since I came back home when i went to start the car it would make a few clanking noise like metal on metal for a few seconds as it rumbles to a start. It sounds like it came from the passenger side but im not sure. I wonder if its the starter? It goes away after and the car drives fine power seems to be okay but my Z is little wonky im not sure what normal power seems to be these days with the EGR leaking and exhaust leak somewhere... I really hope its not rod knock! the clank is not sustained while the car is in idle or throughout the rpm range or when there is load on the engine either. No hesitation it seems like. When you start the car shortly after to reproduce it. The sound is there but maybe one clank. If you werent looking for it you probably wouldnt notice it at this point. You would have to wait 30 mins and start it in those intervals to reproduce this clanking. Anyway, was wondering if anybody knew how to fix it?
